Spark VDM - cant save ...

Hello,

after the collection V3 update I have this VDM-version of SPARK.
At the moment I do some test with this plugin, whether it is usable.

Now the first problem:
When using in standalone-mode I cannot save self-made patterns!

When pressing the "Save botton" it only lits, no "save as"- pulldown menu appears, as described in the manual. In the librarys destination folder of SPARK there is no user-folder ... , only the factory folder.
After pressing the "Load" botton I can choose "Factory Preset" or "Empty Preset".
Between these two selections there is in a light grey "user Project" visible, but not selectable.
I manually inserted a user-folder in the library-folder, but that didn't solve the problem.
Has anybody an idea, whats there wrong?

I have a similar problem. I got the Spark software with the Collection V3. Am I supposed to get the Spark VDM or the Spark 1.4.1? I can not save anything as if it was not authorized. When I start the software I don't get the you need to authorize screen. I am confused. All my other Arturia software works great.

If you click and *hold* your mouse pointer for a second or two on the "Save" button you should see the pulldown menu with the "Save as.." entry. If you then save your project with an own name, you should see your user project in the Library tab, bottom window. Make sure that the "User" checkbox is checked.

Thank you Kevin, i have Sark VDM and it is authorized but I can not save anything. I click and hold and nothing hapens on ave or save as..

Hmm,
strange.

This is exactly the behavior when not authorized.
Can you click on the Spark logo in the middle of the screen (it will show the about box) and send me a screenshot?

I received an email from Arturia sayong that it is a bug.
I can not click on Export, Save, Save As, import to library
New Project or delete.
Only import works..
I think I can only wait for the update? Any idea when??

I don't know who told you that is a bug (I'd like to, can you give me your support ticket number) but I have not heard about that. What you are describing is clearly the same behavior than the demo mode.
I have to investigate to understand better what's wrong.
When you will give me the support ticket number, I may have more details and it will be easier to ask you screenshots.

still the same problem.

I can send you my support-ticket-No:
Case 112485
Its was the 8th og August.
I got no answer till now from Arturia.

When clicking and holding "save", no pulldown menu appears.

When clicking the "Sparc-Logo", no Demo-Mode is visible.
It is V1.02 (R35458P) 32bit
built date Jul5 2012 15;05:45

The case of the "Save" button is now a bug referenced,
 
I sent this problem to the appropriate developer, know that a newer version will come in some time to solve this issue.

The DAW is different, but this works the same way.

I am having this same issue.  Please inform me when this is fixed...  Not being able to create new kits or save anything makes this wonderful drum machine software a lot less than useable.

I have my license on a USB key.  When I click the logo, it doesn't matter if the key is plugged in or I say to run in demo mode, there is no mention of it being in demo mode on the popup screen.  Also the software behaves identically with or without the key other than having to tell it to be in demo mode without the key.

So to be clear here, this means the following three pieces of the V Collection v3 have serious issues...

Spark VDM - Issues as listed here
Prophet V - Notes hang and do not obey midi note off.
SEM V - LOADS of issues including midi issues and the seq and arp not starting from the beginning on a new note.
