With all of the presets in the Wurlitzer module I am having a 'stuck' sustain pedal issue. All of the patches sound as if the sustain pedal is down all the time. I am not having the issue with any other patch in any other module. The keyboard is a M-Audio Keystation Pro 88 and all of the functions of the unit are working fine for all other modules. I am experiencing the issue both in standalone mode and when hosted as a VST plug. In the Wurlitzer module the onscreen keyboard plays the sounds correctly, but all the notes played from the keyboard are sustaining all the time, rendering the module useless. I have reset the keyboard, restarted the software and searched the forums and the knowledge base for solutions.
I would normally think this is a config issue with the keyboard but it is working perfectly for all the synths in Laboratory except the Wurly module. It is also working perfectly for all other VST instruments.Very odd!
Anyone have any ideas?

Here are some other details I noticed while troubleshooting the issue.

In further troubleshooting the issue here is how the sustain panel is working will all the modules.
ARP 2600:           no issues
CS-80:      Intermittent depends on the patch. On some the sustain pedal has no effect, on others it works perfectly.
Jupiter 8:           Sustain pedal has no effect on any patch
MiniMg:           no issues
Mg Modular:   no issues
Prophet V & VS:   You cannot press the sustain pedal while holding a note and get sustain. If you press the pedal and then play notes they will sustain. Odd
Oberheim:      no issues
Wurlitzer:      Sounds as if the sustain pedal is on all the time for all patches.

I am using the keyboard daily with a number of different sound modules/VST instruments and have never had an issue with the sustain pedal. Having said that, I would still suspect it is a keyboard issue were it not working perfectly on half of Laboratory's modules.
Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

You can adjust the maximum and minimum sustain amount for the sustain pedal on the Wurlitzer V and assign a controller of your choice.

Manuel,
This is in the Wurlitzer module in Laboratory. I don't have the full version of Wurly so I don't have that option. Am I right with this? Or am I missing how to access some of the functions in the module?
Thanks,
George

Hi George,

I guess you're right. I thought you where talking about the Wurlitzer V plugin. Hmm... maybe you should request a demo license for the Wurlitzer V, install it and try it out. But as far as I know, even if the external plugin is loaded by Laboratory, you can't assign controls or adjust maximum and minimum values.

I recommend checking out the demo. Maybe you find a solution...

Sorry,

Manuel
