Spark firmware download failure

While downloading the newest firmware update on spark controller the download stopped with only 7% downloaded and crashed. I turned off the spark and restarted the computer several times and with no luck. The Spark controller now seems dead.  I emailed technical support a week ago but I have still to hear back a reply.  I was wondering if anybody has some advice to get it up and running or should I return it?  It was taken out of its package, plugged in and now dead.  Pretty bummed that I still have not gotten the controller up and going yet.

Same thing happened to me and I (quite literally) just got mine up and running.  I'd be happy to help you with an email address.

After updating, my Spark controller fails the autotest when I switch it on. The display says:

AutoTest Failed
00bf,01ff,03,06

Can't seem use it, it's really annoying.

PLEASE ADVISE.

Hi,

I have the same issue and my controller has been dead for a while now, but I would like to get it running again.

I did open a case (117400_RJHBTAAL) in early November, but it just went unanswered and got deleted, talk about customer service. 

Caveat emptor if you want to buy one these things.

I have the same issue .. i have posted SPARK DEAD .. can anyone help me.. it flashes once and stops.. the firmware update stopped at 4%. i have tried the different USB the restarts .. redownloaded spark 1.5... nothing works.. who knows how to do a reset?? PLEASE HELP
