For my 1.000th post on this forum, let me add my little grain of salt...
By late February'12, a music instruments shop in Lyon/France had organized a meeting for analog synths & modular systems enthusiasts.
The great Yves Usson was presenting his own modules, as well as a compact MOS-LAB system, and also presented the MiniBrute and told the story behind its birth.
The presentation was nothing corporate/professional, rather a confidential synth folks meeting with beers and peanuts, so it is often noisy, weirdly filmed and cut, and we do not expect a "Best Company Movie Of The Year" award for that; anyway we can hear the baby crying, and see faces of Yves, François (who has done a nice amount of electronics job on the beast), and I your humble servant.
Huge thanks to synth-activists Olivier at
CEM3374.com and Pascal at
Comeback Music (Lyon) for organizing such happy event, and
Scopy for all the technical stuff. You guys rule.
The video can be seen at the bottom of the MiniBrute page on the
Comebackmusic website.
