Okay, so here we go with the first Unison patch. This is just me testing the waters....
The way it works is simple, I've attached a bank of 4 different sounds. They are monophonic, and are programmed to be used together in Unison. Simply import the bank as usual. Now, these are not really to be used as individual sounds, but rather all together. The way to go about this, is to load 4 instances of the SEM V. That's right, open it up 4 times (I've only tested this in my VST host, but it should work standalone as well) and you will see that I have labeled by patches for Unison use, e.i. "Phat" Voice-1, voice-2, voice-3, and voice-4.
Just load the patches sequentially; "Phat Voice-1" into the first SEM V you open, then "Phat Voice-2" in the second, and so on.... After you've loaded all 4 SEMs with all 4 different sounds, the result of all those different Oberheim tones under the control of one keyboard should be nothing short of breathtaking!
I plan to make (for starters) 8 different Unison sounds......, meaning 8 groups of 4 patches that are to be used together...... once I'm done, you can combine different patches to really get creative!
Let me know your results, and give me some feedback guys; let me know if I should continue!
IT'S OBERTIME!!!!
