Wow, Aaron. I had know idea these patches were so sought after! I hadn't posted any because I had to reinstall my OS; long story, but I lost the patches. Here are some that I was able to salvage and new ones......

I will be working on some Mono patches specifically meant to be combined with several instances of the SEM V, to get a Unison type sound going. More to follow....

Oberman,
I got upgraded from V Collection 2 to V Collection 3 (for Christmas), so now I have the full blown Oberheim SEM-V (earlier I was using the demo version for awhile).  Fortunately I still had the file you posted several months ago.  I will check out your newest patches also; I liked your previous ones.  On your other thread, where you have the pseudo unison thing happening, I don't fully understand how that works, but I'll take your word for it.  Thank you!  :)

Oberman,
I opened today's Borseti file and didn't come across any different patches than the ones I posted just recently from you (from your March 2012 post).  I am looking forward to any new ones you might post in the future.

Well, I'm losing my mind then :D

It's okay though, I'm still working on patches. I'm planning a 4-Voice bank and a bank full of monophonic template sounds, so when you load multiple instances of SEM V, you can choose a different patch for each one, thus allowing you to have full Unison with multitimbrality. More to follow.....

Okay, so here we go with the first Unison patch. This is just me testing the waters....

The way it works is simple, I've attached a bank of 4 different sounds. They are monophonic, and are programmed to be used together in Unison. Simply import the bank as usual. Now, these are not really to be used as individual sounds, but rather all together. The way to go about this, is to load 4 instances of the SEM V. That's right, open it up 4 times (I've only tested this in my VST host, but it should work standalone as well) and you will see that I have labeled by patches for Unison use, e.i. "Phat" Voice-1, voice-2, voice-3, and voice-4.

Just load the patches sequentially; "Phat Voice-1" into the first SEM V you open, then "Phat Voice-2" in the second, and so on.... After you've loaded all 4 SEMs with all 4 different sounds, the result of all those different Oberheim tones under the control of one keyboard should be nothing short of breathtaking!

I plan to make (for starters) 8 different Unison sounds......, meaning 8 groups of 4 patches that are to be used together...... once I'm done, you can combine different patches to really get creative!

Let me know your results, and give me some feedback guys; let me know if I should continue!

IT'S OBERTIME!!!!

Sounds good (I played all 4 at once)!  For what I was playing (via sequencer), I preferred Phat Voice 4 with somewhat faster portamento time.  I like it!  Bring on more when you are ready!  :D

I couldn't agree more...  ;)

@Oberman,

Why don't you attach your sounds right here to your posts instead of uploading them anywhere else and posting (broken) links? ;)

Just open the additional options and choose the files you want to attach!

Anybody have any good RUSH presets, ala Subdivision, the verse and the solo?

I'm not seeing where to Import presets into the Sem V application.  Only banks.
Am I missing something.

I saved a couple of the banks, but when I attempt to open them, it sends me a "no license" message.
