Spark Controller Connection Fail
« on: January 25, 2012, 09:53:01 am »
I have seen some people have the same problems and after a few times get it to work. But I have tried everything and I still can not get my Controller to come on after it froze during an update. I even switched it to my lap top and all I get is a quick flash when I turn it on. I am using a PC with XP Intel 4 and I have a Mac Book Pro with Snow Leppard. Please help its cool that the software is still working but I really want to get stuff done using the hardware.

Regarding your Spark unit, you should download the latest update (1.4) from:
http://www.arturia.com/evolution/en/products/spark/resources.html

When you install the Spark software, it will also install a Utility Application called Spark MIDI Control Center.
Please use this Application to reset your Spark Controller by selecting “Update Spark Controller” in the Action menu.
(you will first need to put Spark in Controller mode by pressing simultaneously the Filter, Slicer and Roller buttons, as instructed on screen)
