Sustain Pedal, Factory restore.
« on: November 28, 2011, 04:54:57 am »
I have the Laboratory 61, how do you factory restore it?

Also I have changed the sustain pedal settings (for polarity) but they are not storing, every time I turn it off they reset. If you change a value in the set up area what do you press to enter the value? Tried changing the min/max values and the sustain is not responding at all.

I have the exact same issue.

Too bad nobody answered your post.

This keyboard is looking like it may have to go back.

Mostly for what I see as poor support on this forum. So many unanswered questions, that often happens on forums that need approval for each post.

I think my response to the other thread on Changing Velocity Curve might help you.

Since it's not approved yet, I can't link it so I'll just copy it here again. This for Velocity curve but it explains a couple things that I think will help.

*************************************************

First I Factory Reset:
Power On with +/- Octave Buttons Down

To Change velocity curve:
Hit Setup Key
Hit Curve Key
Turn Category knob until it shows Velocity
Turn Preset/Value Knob from 00-10 (10 is On/Off no Velocity)
PUSH Preset/Value Knob after select (You can test KeyBoard Response here)
Hit Store Key
Turn Preset to desired Preset ## (I think it boots to Preset 00) so I choose Preset 00 here
Push Preset Knob
Push Preset Knob again

Toggle Power to confirm it sticks.

**********************************************************************************

The problem I think is the Keyboard Boots on Preset 00 and when you go to Save a Change it Defaults to Preset 01, so when you reboot you lose what you saved because it's in Preset 01 and you Rebooted to Preset 00.
