Jupiter 8 crashes Ableton Live 8.2.6
« on: October 21, 2011, 12:17:27 am »
I am having problems with the Arturia plugin Jupiter 8 V2 ( v2.0 Demo ).  It will crash Ableton Live 8.2.6 frequently when trying to change patches. The two mode buttons for selecting patches don`t work. I like the sound very much and want to buy it but will be sure Arturia replies to solve this as i read there were similar topics in other DAWs since quite a long time...?

Maybe someone here with a similar problem in Live 8?

Do you have eLicenser, installed, working and have you inserted the temporary demo registration code?

I ask this because if an eLicenser warning comes up and you click Cancel (because you don't have a valid reg code), then yeah, a crash happens.

I'm running right now Live 8.2.6 with Jupiter-8V2 instantiated and working with no issues on Windows 7.

I have the demo with Soft Elicenser installed, and now try to use V2.0.2. Hope this works better. There`ll be no crashes when selecting presets with the presets menu for lower and upper part ( Open function -Patch, Preset, FX and so on.. ).

I also wondered that when opening the demo version ( which is at least possible 30 time ) the remaining number will be reduced by 2 ( instead of one ).
