ARP2600 V Demo and Acid Pro 7
« on: July 04, 2011, 04:42:09 pm »
Hi, first post here. I had previously played around with ARP2600 V at Guitar Center where they have it loaded on a computer. So yesterday I downloaded the demo. The installation and authorization went fine and I can open up the standalone version but it doesn't load into my DAW. This is strange because both of the .dll files are sitting inside my VSTi folder. Every other VSTi works fine, just load the .dll file and it works. This is a ASUS laptop running Windows 7.

Well, apparently no one from Atruria even visits this board. Well, if you ever do then know that I deleted and reloaded your demo and it still doesn't function. All my other VSTi's from a wide variety of vendors seem to work just fine so logic would dictate that your product is faulty. If I can't get your demo to work then I'm guessing the full version won't work either and I'll have big problems returning it once its open so I'll be spending my $200 on some software that actually works.

Went with Spectrasonics Trilian and Omnisphere instead. Works great and the company actually responds to their emails and forum.

You made a good move, my friend.  Spectraonics also works without a dongle.
