Recovering lost registrations/licenses
« on: June 09, 2011, 10:04:58 pm »
Hello,

I recently had a major computer failure and I have lost my Arturia Factory and Laboratory synths because of this.

I still have the serial numbers and registration codes etc with mails form Arturia confirming the details.

I have had to get a new hard drive installed on my imac so I think I have also lost my e-lisences.

Can you please let me know how I can recover my software?

Thank you.

Yours most anxiously

Plod.

Hi Plod,

A good start would have been to fill an inquiry to the Technical Support desk, through your account.  :)

Anyway here is the process:
1. Log into your account ==> http://www.arturia.com/login
2. Go to the "My Registered Products" section
3. Click the "Authorization Troubleshooting" button
4. Click the "I need a new activation code" button
5. Carefully read and follow the instructions until the process completion

If for any reason the license download was interrupted, please use the "Recover" button on the eLicenser Control Center interface.

All the best,

Antoine.

Hi Antoine,

Unfortunately I have tried his method without success.

In the area where it says, "select your registered instrument", there is nothing in the dropdown. Even though I have two synths with you.

How do I move on from here?

Thanks for your help so far.

If nothing available in the "select your registered instrument" field, it means nothing has been registered. If you have 2 synths, please register them; they will then be selectable.

Antoine,

I am going in circles here.

The problem is that I have two synths that I cannot access because my hard drive has failed.

When I go to register the synth using the original codes from the original mails sent to me by Arturia , your page tells me the codes are already registered.

Yet your website will not let me get new codes as it does not show anything as registered to me.

I can send you on the original emails if you can give me an a mail address to send them to? Or if there is anything else, please let me know.

Thanks

Plod.

OK, send me all numbers you have in hands via personal message (the little IM icon under my avatar). I'll check this out.
