New Arturia presets
« on: April 06, 2011, 12:26:49 pm »
Hi all,

Checking mail i saw some new Arturia presets downloadable from the site ( i' ve got Arturia Analog Factory), i don' t know how to install it, cause the site tell this : The downloaded file is a .zip, use Stuffit ( for Mac ), but the files are not zip and stuffit or Unrarx does not know that kind of file like .j8e , ogs !

Can you help me? please?

Wrong forum, but here's the answer anyway:
At this time, there are no additional presets for Analog Factory (which already contains 3,500 presets!).

As you can see in the Presets download page (http://www.arturia.com/evolution/en/downloads/presets.html), presets are organized by instrument.
.ogs files are for Origin
.j8e files are for Jupiter-8V

It seems like this question stays unanswered. I have the same problem : Stuffit Expander cannot open the new sound bank files for literally every plugin. Geez.

@Supergirl36,

the sound-presets/-banks have to be imported into the original soft-synths!

*.ays /*.ays2 are for CS-80 V
*.j8e files are for Jupiter-8V
*.minibank are for miniMg V
*.amb are for Mg Modular V
*.obsx are for Oberheim SEM V
*.ogs files are for Origin
*.provbank are for Prophet-V
etc.

Yeah, it's so stupid Arturia writes the banks have to be uncompressed with Winzip in Windows and Stuffit with Mac. I just found the ADD BANK button when i open CS-80V in Live 8, which isn't there in standalone. But i can't find how with the Jupiter ; no ADD BANK button... Thanks.

You can import the banks in standalone as well as in every other mode, on all the synths.
Have a look at the images I've attached!
