New Origin firmware Version_1.3.18

We have a new build of the 1.3 Origin firmware for testing !
This version seems to be very stable, and will maybe be the final release.
As usual, before upgrading the firmware, please update Origin Connection with the installer provided in the package.

Why do you not couple the update to the connection software when we always have to update both anyway?

installs fine on win 7 64 bit.  just lags out when trying to connect to origin.  then it says encountered a problem must shut down program.

Update was running ok. (but as usual tooooo long! )

after bringing my user presets back to origin, origin crashed - so i had to reboot...
now everything is working fine.

Do you remember exactly what you have done: restore a whole backup, or moved presets manually? When have you noticed that Origin had crashed? Was some element of the interface still responding or all buttons and controllers were frozen?

Hi niccolo!

After the update has finished (after finalizing), i rebooted origin and OC.
then i manually drag n dropped my presets back to origin. (i didn't know that you can do a backup restore! ).

after uploading the presets i turned the BIG knob to step through the presets on the 1st screen, but the names of the presets stayed RED and didn't switch... then i tried the same with "+/-" with no result and of course NO sound. and then (after trying to switch about 4-5 presets with no luck) origin crashed, everything was frozen. so i had to reboot!
after reboot until today, everything is running as expected with no problems!
(and the annoying "Volume set to zero on start" bug is gone!!!! )

After several updates and upgrades it seems that it helps to do a manual reset (Home -> Reset) once the update process has finished and Origin has booted. But don't forget to enter your user name again (Home -> System 1).

We're running final tests here. If they succeed the final 1.3 release should be available tomorrow evening friday, 4 february.
