MMV standalone and Logic issues
« on: April 12, 2004, 08:48:58 am »
When MMV is loaded up as a standalone it asks to open the preference panel in order to choose a sound card. Upon doing so MMV crashes.

In Logic Pro 6.4.1 as an AU the preset bank and other controls are sometimes visible, but never accessible. Some of Logics controls appear instead, such as bypass.

MMV Standalone failure

I have nearly  the same problem: standalone MMV asks to select hardware preferences (in my case I select digi001 HW) it then states it can't initialise the hardware so I can't get any sound out of it. However it doesn't actually crash.

I'm using the MMV as an AU in Digital Performer. It works great. It also works fine in standalone with MOTU 2408. Maybe you should check your OS version. Are you on 10.3.3? Do you have the latest 001 drivers for OSX from Digi? Just a thought..

MMV standalone and Logic issues

I used MMV as AU installed from the CD in Logic Pro 6.4 and it worked great. Then I learned that there is a new update and upgraded to 1.2 and now it refuses to open in "edit" mode (the mode with the GUI). I have to use it in "control" mode which sucks tremendously. The error msg goes: "Error code -3000 was returned by the Core Audio driver."

Anyone knows what's going on?
