automatisation miniMg
« on: October 04, 2010, 03:09:39 pm »
hi
I'm new here .....
i wanted to asked you guys if , by any chance , you know how to automatize the  octaves , you know when you OPEN  the miniMg  (to have xtra fx) when you use arpeggiated sounds ...it gives a nice fx moving up & down the cursor.
But then i can't find this "octaves" thing in tha automatisation miniMg's menu in logic....
i hope that i've been clear enouggh!   :)
bye

[Cmd]+click on the controller, choose "Learn", move a control on your MIDI keyboard, et voilą!
In Logic, you now just have to record the MIDI movement of this control.

hey antoine
i've tried your suggestions and seems to work...but only partially, the fader of the octaves infact , they seems to go up but not till the end! ....and also i wanted to asked you
what do you mean when you talk about the controller of the  midi keyboard ?
what the m.k  have to do with miniMg automation?
thanks!

On my test machine, the fader reaches octave 5 around MIDI value 66h (102d).
Just a question of workflow: you asked for automation, but I replied by "record the MIDI events from your controller". Probably was I slightly off the rails ;)

Is it possible to control the arpeggiator-switch (play-switch) of MiniMg with automation? In Fruityloops the knobs of the the arp section are not recognized.
