Changing Presets in Ableton Live
« on: April 04, 2010, 11:54:42 am »
Hi,
I made two MMV2 Presets using the Sequencer resembling the two parts of the Our Darkness Base Synth from Anne Clark. Apart from the sequence the presets are equal.
I trigger the Mg with a Midi track in Ableton Live 8. After changing the Preset (that are unfortunately not recognized with their names in Live)  the sound stops.
Has anyone an idea why this isn't working (Its clear to me that I can programm the sequence in Live, beut I wonder whats the problem with the MMV)?

Thanks in advance

Additional info:
The sound starts, if the first note is triggered 1/8 note after the beginning new clip with the program change, but then it's out of timing.

What I wish to do is: Programming different arpeggiated chords (major/minor/7th) with the Mg sequencer and the only way to chose them is a program change and starting a new clip in Live. But program change and MIDI note on at the beginning of a clip seems to stop the sequencer. Bug or feature?

Please Help.
