selling my computer...
« on: December 16, 2009, 06:25:40 am »
given the elicense system and its limitations, how would go about installing my Mg modular v on my new system?  it's already on my old one, but i'm going uninstall it from that system when i sell it.

please advise.  thank you!  :)

The elicense is on the dongle. When I got a new computer, I didn't have any problems with Cubase transfer... just plug the dongle into the new computer and register it online. I'm sure it will be pretty much the same for MMV... I hope the moderator here will give the official answer.

As suggested by UniQue Werkx, the correct way is to store the license on an USB-eLicenser dongle system to allow the use on multiple computers, or final remove from the computer that you want to sell.

ah, so i could either use the dongle OR remove the license from the old computer and re-register my product and obtain the eLicense on my new system?

i hope the second option is available as it would be a bit easier for me at this point.  thanks for your assistance.
