Can't turn Off the Arppegiator on the Jupiter 8v
« on: May 07, 2009, 11:21:02 pm »
I'm currently running the demo version of Jupiter 8v on Mac OSX 10.4.11.

I noticed that after I Activate the arppegiator there is no way to turn off the Arppegiator unless you change patch presets.   Is this normal?

thanks.

I thought this would be an easy question to answer.

I guess nobody uses the arppegiator feature.

Did you try the green "Hold Low / Hold Up" buttons?

On the Jupiter-8V, as on the original from Roland, the Arpeggio and Assign modes are exclusive from each other; to stop the Arpeggio, click on Solo/Uni/Poly.
Please check your favorite User's Manual for further details.

Thanks Antonie,

You are correct.

Because I have never played the original Jupiter 8, I wasn't aware clicking on either the Solo/Uni/Poly buttons would turn off the Arppegiator.

Later.
