Soft MIDI takeover not working

Nice to see you have implemented some of the MIDI requests I made for the update,   but unfortunately the soft MIDI takeover does not work (win 98SE).

I've also noticed that the number of possible controller assignements appears to be limited to 119, that there are too many allocations for the 'next step' MIDI slots in the controlMIDI file, and that no allocation slot has been made for RES_QUAL_BANDE 1 or 14 (not that I am likekly to need them).

Finally, where does the allocation for the MIDI control number for the sequebcer start and stop appear in the controlMIDI file?

As a follow-up to this post: sorry to bang on about this, but having decent MIDI control of the sequencer would seem to be vital to making the real-time control of the MMV a prospect.

MIDI 'smoothing' simply does not work (win98SE).

The sequencer start and stop MIDI automation seems to be interfered with by the automation of the note glide switch on the keyboard, and nothing I do makes the synth 'remember' the changes I make to try to automate the start and stop buttons, even directly editing the controlMIDI file to remove the portamento MIDI number does not work.  There seems to be too many lines for portamento automation - is this where the confusion lies?:

..and there are too many lines to add control to the 'next' sequencer step - any reason for this?
