please help... Can't run demo

Hi..

Im on XP Pro sp2

I downloaded the demo, and installed it but when i try to run the stand alone or VST in Ableton Live... i get the following error message:

 "ARP2600v not available" and a black screen pops up missing the entire interface except for the toolbar


I rebooted my computer and re-installed, but i get the same result

I have analog factory light on my computer and that runs fine, maybe there is a behind the scenes conflict that im not aware of
