OT: VST analogue sequencers
« on: August 24, 2007, 08:25:48 am »
Hi there,

maybe a little OT but would be kind of helpful for the style of sounds
we use to make. are there any good working analogue sequencers
VST's with midi support and the ability to assign CC commands?

thanks in advance!

EDIT: Yes, i have stressed google and others without a good result

I'm not sure how easy it is to write a vst that sends midi to another vst. You'd probably need a programme to run in the background that can send midi. I've seen one written in synth-edit I think. It's that kind of thing that Max/Msp is supposed to be good for.

Well, unfortunately i'm not a programmer. Neither do i know anybody
who would have the skills to code such an application.

i found some standalone analogue sequencer apps, which can load
a VST and control that single instrument via my midi controller. But
that is not what i want, since my music doesn't contain only 1 instrument :)

still looking for a good solution.
