JP8V Mac. Plugin problem in Logic 6.4.3

Hello all,

I just bought JP8V last week. I installed it correctly but i'm having troubles with the plugin in Logic 6.4.3. Standalone works fine.

The problem is 'image' related. When using the plugin I get the normal window but the image of the synth is not completely visible. The image is to low so I can't completely see the keyboard and no pitchweel. This also means when I click on a function it doesn't work. I have to click somewhat higher (where the button would be if the image was correctly possitioned). Also I cannot select other sounds and therefore not use this plugin at all. If I do manage to click on some other sound the plugin hangs.

Can anyone help, please I also got the CS80V and this one works fine.

I have just gone back to Logic 6.3 on Dual 1.8ghz G5.

Have the same problem as you. It looks like all versions that are UB combined will not work within Logic 6.

If you can get your hands on a OS X only version of the software you will not have any problems.

On Logic 7.2 on the same PC and same AU files - all is perfect. Logic 6 cant handle the UB plugins. - If you have any more information on this let me know!

Also I have the same problems with GMedia software, but once I downloaded the OS X versions instead of the latedt UB - fine.

Thanks, I figured this had to do with the new UB programming.
I really don't think the programmers will build (compile) an
osx only version. But in fact they should. As we bought this software
we should be able to use it without problems. And if not they should
send us a voucher so our dealer can give us a refund. I didn't pay
the money for something worthless.

I already contacted the arturia support and got an answer very quick.
They suggested I download the 1.03 version but this didn't solve anything.
Their next reply was to wait for a future update, but they couldn't tell me
when this problem would be resolved, if they solved it ever.
Nice answer but this does not solve my problem. It should work or they should refund me. The software is useless to me and I can use the money to buy something else that does work.

As you can tell I am quiet annoyed with this. I really needed to express my frustation on tis.
