Midi configuration: how I can save on kl61 directly?

Hi, I've connected my kl61 via midi to external sequencer. Would be nice to configure my kl61 to use different midi channel to switch from a channel to another in very fast way only push "one botton" on my kl61. How I can do that? Can anyone help me?  Thank you

Snapshot buttons from 1 to 9 will recall memory from 1 to 9.
Memory 1 recall channel 1
Memory 2 recall channel 2
....

Hi,

many thanks for your replay, but I've a Analog Experience The laboratory 61 and I'm using for midi configuration the "laboratory MIDI control center". My workstation is Windows XP so I've tried to load the config suggested but the program is able to load only *.ale49 files. Also the unified midi control center runs only on Windows 7.

Can you help me?

Hi,
I'm sorry but you won't be able to save those memories with the old midi control center.
I've made memories for you but they will only work with the Unified Midi Control Center.
As it's not XP compatible i suggest you store those memories with an other computer sorry.

Thank you for reply. I'll try to follow your suggestion about another workstation with Windows 7 on board, but it's possibile to set directly on keyboard different snapshot with different midi channel set? I can do that?

You can manual set the channel send by the keyboard from upper and lower part :
- tap setup
- global
- browse with category knob on upper and lower channel and set them on midi channel you want with preset knob.
- press on preset knob to validate your change.
- then you can store this setting into a memory and recall it latter.

Hi, Thank you for replay. I've changed the midi channel and save it with setup/store command on each snapshot. When I recall the snapshot I see the Ch that change from to 1 to 10 but unfortunately I've tried to  Connect an external expander and receive only from channel 1 (the value set on global parameter).  I've missed something?

I'm not sure to understand...
You've changed MIDI channel of your laboratory and put it on ch10, your expander receive ch 1 ?

exactly. The snapshot from 1 to 10 contains  different midi channels but when I connect my keyboard to an expander and push the memory snapshot, I see on keyboard display the midi channel changed but seems that it  send however on channel 1 . This is the channel that I see on global paramenter. When I change the midi channel value on global parameter then the keybord send in according with the channel set.

Hi,
I've followed your suggestion and loaded int MCC the configurations suggested. I've stored them on memory from 1 to 9 and now when I push memory 1 channel 1 is loaded , memory 2 channel 2, and so on. Unfortunately when I switch off my keyboard all is lost. I' ve imported every configuration and stored on each memory. What I miss?

I think you forget to save. The laboratory should saved your settings even if you unplugged it.

I hope this my very last question, but I don't understand how to procede to save on my analog after the memories (1-10)  has been loaded with the different configuration. Could you explain how I can do that  or indicate where this procedure is described on manual?

You are welcome !!
There is in fact a minor bug here. I'll report it !
When you unplug your keyboard and plug it back you are on the working memory called 0 and not on the memory 1 to 9 that you have been editing.
The workaround is to recall directly on the hardware one of the written memory, in this case 1 to 9.
You should do this each time you plug your laboratory, sorry.
