The laboratory & Midi Control Center question
« on: December 08, 2013, 02:26:34 pm »
Just loaded and installed Midi Control Center v1.0
Good replacement for the former application. Just one question about firmwares.
The application seems to indicate a firmware 7.0.0.0 while on boot the keyboard says AnalogExperience Laboratory v1.01.
When I press upgrade firmware I get an awkard error message:

The Laboratory
Your firmware revision 7.0.0.0
This device can't be upgraded with this software.

What does this mean???

I WOULD REEEEEALLLY LIKE AN ANSWER TO THIS AS WELL!!!! But, it seems that ARTURIA is not so inclined to give one. This kind of lack of response in product support is EXACTLY why I don't (and won't) spend anymore money on their products!

If only they had phone support like a normal manufacturer.  This is where Roland's customer service has always excelled.
I've called Roland and Alesis numerous times over the years, and had instant gratification by realtime phone support walking me through various steps, and often times, acquired other lil tidbits of valued/insightful info along the way.
