SparkLE recording drum patterns overlap
« on: November 09, 2013, 08:43:54 pm »
I was recording my own drum pattern by hitting the pads. I was recording three bars, but when the third bar ends and it goes back to the first bar they start to overlap. So the drum sounds layer on top of each other. If I finish too early then there's a silent gap between the bars.

How do I record patterns so they don't overlap or have silent gaps? Is there a way to edit that? I can't tell when the recorded bars are about to overlap. I went over the manual and couldn't find anything on that.
Here's a youtube link to my problem:

Thanks,

you can edit every note event in the sequenzer (you can find this at the top of the software) there you can control and change everything you played.

when you play live with the drumpads, simply activate the metronome. that should help you to play the sounds right in time. but you'll allways have to count each step. with a bit experience you'll soon get this. there are only 4 bars maximum. when you practice, you'll soon count automatic every step without even thinking about it ;)
