First.. Analog Synth in my Studio. Some quirks.

After having to sell off my Novation Supernova and various keyboards some time ago this is my first piece getting back into the analog world. Pretty stoked. So far seems easy to grasp knowing the basics of subtractive synthesis (Thank you Welsh's Cookbook) but running into a few strange things as I get into it..

1. It seems like when the mod wheel is set to control the cutoff and I have a loop playing it seems to reset the cutoff point for some reason after the loop restarts.. doesn't happen when its set to LFO amount.
2.  The midi seems to slip after sometime of playing said loop.

Could be I haven't set it up correctly in the DAW (Live 9) but everything seems to be working correctly. Anyway looking way forward to seeing what this little badass can do..

Also.. when recording a sequence it seems to be doubling the notes (But not rests) for some reason..

It turns from when imputed:
C1, C2, C1,R,C1,C2,D1,D2

into:
C1,C1,C2,C2,C1,C1,R,C1,C1,C2,C2,D1,D1,D2,D2

if your sequence is sending Modwheel CC, it will indeed modify the cutoff value.

did you configure you DAW to send Midi Clocks to the microbrute? If the DAW is properly sending clk the machine follow perfectly. You said it's a loop, are you looping on it? Not sure what  Live is sending between 2 loops. I need to check.

It sound s like your daw is forwarding the notes back to the machine. The notes are output, but not the rests. Check your DAW configuration

Looks like the pattern record was only when I was plugged into Ableton live as it doesn't double when recording with the unit disconnected. Im guessing the other issues will be resolved as well with correct set up.
