Oberheim SEM crashes Digital Performer 8 and Logic 9

Happens randomly in both apps. One day ok another useless.
This means SEM = useless.

By the way, you figure this out, i will not help you.
I tried your update, it crashed less often but it's still crashing.

I will try your next update whenever that comes out.
Of course you realize paying for broken/poorly coded software sucks.

Until this is fixed I will push people away from your software.
It's too bad, Mg Modular,Jupiter and 2600 work ok now but not this.

Add Digital Performer 8 to the list of DAWs that are crashed by this plug.

Incidentally I' using OSX 10.6.8 if that makes any difference.
Your website says this is supported.
Also I only have this problem with your plugin.

If I understand well you are not happy.
I'm sorry but indeed we support these host and we tested that on 10.6.8 and DP8.
So it must be related to your configuration.
Could you give me some details ?

By the way just as a test you can move somewhere else the files *pref or *last that are in /Library/Arturia/Oberheim SEM V/
And see if it helps.

I really hope it will work. Again those platform are tested and it works on DP8, Live9, Cubase 6, 7, StudioOne, Sonar X PT 10 (and since the last newsletter on PT11 ) All this tested on last updates of every DAW and OS (OSes are 10.6, 10.7, 10.

Last word, there is an update for analog lab 104 -> Oberheim 117 published today.

Just to Inform you that Ableton Live 9 (32 and 64) was tested on 10.6 and there is no issue with the SEM.
So I guess this is related to your config, therefor, I guess you should contact the support.

I'll look into it.
I'm just a bit busy these days so can't say when.
It doesn't crash nearly as often since the update.

Everything else in my digital world works perfectly for me so....

i rechecked with Logic Pro 9.1.8 and had no issues neither 32 nor 64 bit.

I can concur that the Oberheim SEM V plugin crashes Logic one way or another every single time I use it.  Sometimes as soon as I create an instance of it on a channel strip, sometimes when I'm browsing or switching presets, sometimes if say, I've got it on a channel and I switch that instance to another plugin, sometimes when I'm bouncing.  It's been completely unusable since I got it. 

I've got the latest 1.1.7 version installed (though the plugin still says v 1.1.6 for some reason) and this in on Logic 9.1.8 in 64 bit.  I've tried trashing the prefs as listed in this thread and elsewhere but to no avail, this plugin will crash Logic at some point.  I've been trying for months to integrate it into many different sessions, but the story is the same.  I'm ready to ask of a late refund if I can't use this thing.

I've had the same problem as this along with many other issues with my recently purchased V collection. Basically I'm finding most of the VI's basically useless because of strange bugs. I'm running on two different systems that are both pretty much brand new. One is a Mac Pro 3.33 GHZ quad with 32 GB of ram and two 500 GB SSD. The other is a brand new Mac mini with 16GB of ram. I was in a session all day today trying to use the Mini V and had to open and close my session probably 25/30 time in a 6 hour session. It's just absurd that I can't call anyone either. I essentially lost $200 today because I had to refund the client for 4 hours since we didn't get done what I was hoping to. I'm beyond frustrated.
