minibrute and drum machine.. new to midi

Ive owned a minibrute for a month or so. My understanding of midi is very basic.

This is what I want to do:

Looking to buy a cheap drum machine that can send tempo info to the arpeggiator on my minibrute when connected. I want to be able to jam without anything connected to a computer. What do I need in terms of a drum machine if I want to accomplish this?

I'm really new to electronic music so any recommendnation's on drum machines would be greatly appreciated.

basically you can use any drum machine that has midi out. it only depends on what kind of drumsounds you want to use. the cheapest one with the most flexibility of sound editing is the boss dr-202. zoom streetbox is cool and cheap too. or a little sampler or...

So any drum machine with midi out will send out its own internal clock?

the cheapest ones i have do that so i assume that almost all drum machines with midi out will do it. you could look at the manuals online to be 100% sure.
