I just wanted to let some of you know that we are working on an update for this (1.1.5), which should also improve RAM usage.
I know you have been waiting a long time for this. We are currently testing the stability of this update (several major changes have been done and I don't want to rush the release).
Just FYI, there must be somewhere on this forum an unofficial 1.1.4 that helps with the readsize==bytesize error, this is not official as it was not completly tested.

BTW, if you want to join beta test or anything ask the support or send me a PM (although the support solution should be faster).

I'm having the same issue with NI Maschine.

I got a demo version while ago and it expired. I tried to open up the project that has Oberheim SEM V and it gives me this error message:

"Error: read_size == bytesize

file: /jenkins/root/workspace/Oberheim_SEM_Mac_Release/Oberheim_SEM/project/Mac/../../../WrapperLib/src/VST3/BaseProcessor.cpp
line: 677"

I contacted Arturia customer support but never heard back.
Please help!

having the same issue here!!!
using mac os x 10.8.2 with ableton 8.3.4 and can`t open the last version of my latest song anymore. horrible... ahhhhhh 

IS THERE ANY WAY TO RECOVER OR OPEN THE SONG AGAIN? DISABLE OR UNINSTALL THE SYNTH?

Hi Adrien, I've already reported it in the forum, the error apprear in Windows 7 and Windows 8 64 bit, Ableton 64bit (9 beta and 8.3.4 beta) and the 64bit version of SEM V.
I tested it also in Windows 64 bit system with ableton live 8.3.4 32bit and the error is still here.

This problem does not happen every time you throw a SEM V into a channel but if you try to put 3-4 copy of it and then delete one's of them ableton crashes and this popup comes out!

I'm not in the studio now so I can't send you a screenshot but I've done it some month ago (see this thread: http://www.arturia.com/evolution/smf/index.php?topic=6928.msg23504#msg23504) sorry but the image is not avaiable anymore.
By the way the error is still here in 64bit version!
Can you please investigate? I think that it has something to do with elicenser, but I'm not so sure.

I'm going to do some other test with Windows 8 this week, I'll keep you updated! I sent the project to the Ableton Team and they say that's not a Live issue. I'll keep you updated!
