When changing the filter cutoff with my Keylab 88 II, the stepping in the filter cutoff is very audible. Perhaps software smoothing would address that. I noticed that in Moog's version of the Mini, the filter cutoff does not make any stepping sounds when changing the CC I assign to cutoff.
I don't know if this is an issue across the V-Collection, I'll have to try it out in more places... but this makes me use the Moog plugin more often, since I like to play with the filter cutoff assigned to an expression pedal.
