I would also want to know if there is a solution for this. Some of my knobs and sliders are also getting a bit sticky. I also wonder if there is a guide somewhere on how to clean or replace this. I saw on YouTube that you could use baking soda and water to clean the sticky knobs, but you would have to take them off the front panel. The idea of opening the MatrixBrute without instructions seems very scary to me.

Mine aren't sticky (yet?), but the general problem with sticky knobs is often addressed by using isopropyl alcohol. Using a cloth and maybe a toothbrush with the alcohol should do the trick. The knobs Can also be soaked in the alcohol.

There is no need to open the MxB; you can pull the knobs straight off. It may take some a little force for the round knobs. To avoid damaging anything, be sure to pull them straight off, not at an angle. You can use some leverage against the panel or a string under the knobs, but I find I can pull them off by hand. Be sure to protect the panel if you apply force against it. There are even special knob pulling tools, but that shouldn't be necessary.

Thanks for the answer. I'm going to check this out at a later point, but at the moment I e-mailed the customer support from Arturia and they are processing my request now. I'll let you know as soon as I have a definitive answer.

I did replace all knobs on my MatrixBrite and MicroBrute by aluminium knobs. Problem hopefully solved forever.

Those look really great.  I've been struggling to de-sticky my minibrute and nothing seems to be working.  I tried soap and water and I tried alcohol and there's still a slight stickiness that makes it feel gross when you touch the knobs or end cheeks.  Hopefully the same thing doesn't happen to my MxB.

That looks great! 👍

With the pots and encoders having D-shafts (and with the flat spot at an unusual angle), how did you go about mounting those knobs? Are the screws hitting the flat part of the axle "by luck", or...? Any eccentricity, or are they well centered?

The aluminium knobs have a screw which is not on the flat side of the "D". The screw is 90° rotated. No excentricity, the knobs are well centered.

Thanks you so much for the tip and links you provided.
The link for the 2 Big aluminium pot doesn't work if you live outside Gernany. I haven't bought the fader caps as I would like to find aluminium ones instead of plastic ones.
The Matrix is a thing of beauty now. 🤙
