Turning a Lead patch into Polyphonic mode

I'd like to turn some lead patches into a polyphonic mode so I can play chords with the patch. I've searched and found that I can do this by selecting and turning the Unison off. But, that doesn't accomplish my goal. I must note that the patch I'm interested is using the hybrid mode with the VS as well. I've tried turning off unison in the VS section as well, but, no luck.

Ooohh.  I just figured it out! 

I changed the Play mode in Settings to Circ and that gave me polyphonic mode.  I also changed the voices to 5. That with the Unison mode off I got it to work.
