Pigments 4 on Linux
« on: December 17, 2022, 06:02:45 pm »
Hi,
Not really an issue but it can be useful for some.
I install pigments 4 on Ubuntu Studio (kernel 5.15) through Bottles (a Wine GUI very friendly).
It works fine but looks like Pigments needs a very good CPU.
If I use more than Poly4 or more than 44.1kHz I got some noisy sounds.
My CPU is an i7@1.7GHz, I just check they recommend 3/4 GHz...
I will test it on my other computer (2.7 GHz)...

EDIT
I change bottles runner and activate gpu, now its work like a charm  ;)
tested on 3 differents PCs
