Is there any way to use the Minifreak V Plugin solely as a hardware synth controller excluding sound generation? I would like to use it in Logic projects to recall presets and automation but would like to save CPU load (25-30%)

I think the answer you're looking for is on page 103 in the manual:
https://downloads.arturia.net/products/minifreak/manual/minifreak_Manual_1_0_0_EN.pdf
"MIDI allows for this with a setting called Local Control. In simple terms,
Local Control turns the connection between the keys and the sound engine on and off
. That's what the Local Control setting on the Utility > MIDI menu does."

Thanks for the answer but unfortunately it has absolutely nothing to do with what I asked. I was talking about the virtual version Minifreak V.
