Minifuse1 constantly dropping out in Ableton
« on: November 10, 2022, 10:06:53 am »
I just bought a Minifuse1 from Amazon and am really disappointed to find out I can't play my midi keyboard (or do anything for that matter) without the sound cutting out every few minutes.
I am using Ableton 9 Suite, and every time it happens I have to go into the preferences and re-select the output. Changing it from DX to Wave seems to be the only thing that fixes this issue, but only temporarily. I'm really disappointed because it stifles the work flow and creativity big time.

Can anybody help?
Thanks, Sam

Hello,

Hello,

Have you followed the Setup section in the Minifuse Manual and/ or on the website? Have you downloaded the Minifuse driver? You shall select Minifuse ASIO driver not Wave or Direct X. But you have to have the Minifuse ASIO for Windows driver installed to be able to do this.
Just follow the Minifuse setup guide here: https://www.arturia.com/products/audio/minifuse/start .

Also be sure your computer is set to High Performance mode, and make sure the USB ports are'nt shut down to save power.

I Presume you use the USB cable Arturia have provided.

Hope this helps.
