Well i actually think it's supposed to be able to use a mouse. It did in the past and still does with my V2 version. Don't know when it it stopped working. I suggest you contact Arturia support about this. I would call it a bug, as the parameter is recognized in my DAW, when i click on it, but it just does'nt record anymore.
The ribbon react to normal Pitch bender messages.
