Audiofuse Studio Windows 10 Issues
« on: June 16, 2022, 07:00:40 pm »
Hello all!

I am having an issue where the Audiofuse Studio sometimes disappears from windows, and sometimes Cubase will not load the ASIO driver.

1. I tried multiple usb cords, and ports, same issue occurs. I am connecting the Audiofuse direct to usb port, not using a hub.
2. I uninstalled and reinstalled the audiofuse and driver.
3. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Audiofuse control center.
4. I disabled the Intel Smart Sount Technology sound device

I conducted a few experiments, and here is what I found:

Sequence 1:
1. Power on audiofuse
2. Power on rack
3. Power on pc
4. Audio Fuse does not appear
5. If I then restart PC, Audio Fuse appears, works fine.

Sequence 2:
1. Audiofuse off
2. Rack on
3. Power on PC
4. Power on Audiofuse
5. Audiofuse appears.
6. Cubase wont load Arturia ASIO driver.
7. Audiofuse disappears from windows
8. This is basically the worst case scenario, as nothing works.

Sequence 3:
1. Audiofuse off
2. Power on PC
3. Power on Audiofuse
4. Power on rack.
5. Audio fuse appears
6. All works. This seems to be the most stable sequence as it has worked 5 times in a row.

FYI, my rack has the following devices:
1. Arturia Polybrute connected via USB
2. Roland TR-8S connected via usb
3. Universial Audio 4-710b connected via adat to audiofuse
4. Moog sub 37 connected via usb
5. Axe FX III connected vis usb.

It seems like something is conflicting with the Audiofuse driver and my rack. Could this be some interrupt problem?

I have a support request open with Arturia as well.  I am happy I found a sequence that works, but, more worried it wont be stable long term.
