Minifuse 2 - no sound from line out
« on: April 08, 2023, 12:35:41 pm »
I connected balanced TRS cables from the output to my Logitech Z-5500's Control Center. However, I am not hearing any sound from the connected speakers despite selecting the right inputs on the control center. I have no problem hearing sound from the headphone jack on the Minifuse 2. What could I be doing wrong?

As far as I can make out there are no balanced inputs on the Z-5500, but it has a stereo aux input 3.5mm socket.

A cable like this, from the MiniFuse outputs to the e Z-5500 aux input should work:

Thank you for your reply. So it looks like I will need two split mono 1/4 inch jacks going into a stereo 3.5 mm. I went an ordered a TRS cable that is stereo... :(. I guess it won't work. Bummer.

Yes, that's it.

Don't worry about the TRS cabe, it will come in handy for something else :)
