Stereo spread knob
« on: February 06, 2022, 03:49:32 pm »
Hello everyone, I hope someone can help me... I'm probably being a dullard but what do I have to do to get the stereo spread knob to work with my daw Logic? I have one cable coming out of 'stereo out' and going into my preamp etc... I see 2 leads coming out in some tutorials but I only have one line-in on my preamp.. Am I up a creek without a paddle?
Many thanks,
Ben

Can you get something that is 2x TS Mono 1/4" to 1x TRS Stereo 1/4" cable? That way you have Left & Right coming out of the synth, and a TRS stereo signal going into your preamp?

What kind of preamp is that (not many have stereo inputs on a single TRS jack...)?

As faflinku says, you need to use both Left and Right outputs from the PolyBrute. The "(Stereo)" label on the "ight jack means that if you use both jacks you get Stereo, and using only the Left  jack gives Mono, and yes that can be confusing.
