screen saver mode

Hi
i know what the vegas setting does
but i cant see what the screen saver mode does
iv tried turning of vegas and setting screen saver to min 2 mins
but nothing seems to happen

Screen saver turns off the OLED screen, leaving it black/blank, until there is activity, at which point, it will wake up and show information, again.
