UNSOLVED PBC2: Getting crash when SaveToProject after adding banks

Windows 7 64-bit
Save to project worked just fine first time after installing v2 everything.
I had filled bank 5 to half with own sounds as well. But rest empty with Init everywhere.

Now I added Factory 2 presets with drag-n-drop to bank 8.
Then Dreaded Darkness free sounds bank to bank 7.
All uploaded directly to PB, sounds are there.
Both occations are starting on A2, since the hilight where to drop is so dark on dark background.

Now doing Save To Project crashes every time, twice. Seen as two reports in textfile enclosed.

I can no longer make backups of my PB it seems.

I rebooted computer as well to see to that nothing is left behind in processes from one crash before trying again.

It's even worse, the backup I did with Export day before yesterday does not contain anything either.
I did a Save To Project and then export, just after firmware updates and such.
3.4 MB but contains nothing, just Init everywhere.

There is no undocumented Sysex dump or something?

One thing you could try is to delete the database that holds info on all the Arturia patches:
C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Presets\db.db3
This database will automatically be rebuilt as you run the various software that uses it.

BTW, have you considered moving on to Windows 10?

Thanks for suggestion, but no difference.
The newly installed sounds were gone, and after running ASC and start again it seems to find it.
That is only difference today from day before yesterday last running it was extra sound bank.

Then it finalized at least Save To Project for many minutes, now it does not recognize what I exported.
I'm sure I was even seing the right presets after the project creation.
But did not verify that the exported would load again.

And there is something weird about caching it reads the crashed project and is blank when startup again, but going back to project list the project is not there.

I can imagine that sounds have a different format now in v2, if that is some caching going on.

I have all librarians and such on this older laptop. I'm not going to use usb connection or VST plugin or anything.
Just updating firmware and take backups.

Drag-n-drop from results to preset explorer today went fine too.
Directly uploading presets to PB as I did that with progress bar done in 15s or so.

Firmware update went fine too the other day.
Touching controls on PB move gui properly today as well.

Left bottom Add New Project now also crashes after giving a name. Progress bar half way then crash.
Same doing from preset explorer.

All was v2 software as installed the other day, no previous versions of arturia software.

My daw is another windows 7 computer.

I'm writing this on a windows 10 laptop, but only used to be compatible with online stores of today.

So I uninstalled PCB and then reinstalled again.
All seem to be fine now.

I verified exporting and importing again too, all is fine.
For a bit I thought the extra sound bank messed something up, since reinstalling did not make that show.
So reinstalled soundbank and still seems ok.

The important things for me work now, so relieved at that.

That's the important bit indeed

The free banks on the Artriua site require that you run ASC (Arturia Software Center) to authorize them. The license synchronization takes care of that.

Next time booting computer the crash came back.
But running installer PBC and not booting after, it works.

There are 3 parts one could say when working
- creating project
- saving project
- progressbar with percentage

So it crashes at first part, not reaching Saving project, the part that not transferred from PB yet.
You can even use Add project from project browser and it crashes.
This very first part has some issues.

Will enclose crash dumps this time.
It open stopped working dialog, and I pick close and this first is created.
The continue running some bit, and open stopped working again and second is created.
