Because seriously, I can't figure out a way to do it. I saved my patterns using User Scales, so I actually get some cool results with "Random Notes" (any octaves ridiculously high or low, I just change the steps to be a more reasonable octave). Saving patterns/Project, all good. Change pattern to something else, come back... User Scale is fine.
Turn off Keystep Pro. Turn it back on. Play my Project.
User Scale back to Chromatic, instead of a limited one of my choosing.
Is there NO WAY to save the User Scale, per-Project? Per-pattern? Per-track? Do I always have to set it, when I power the Keystep Pro back on?
Ugh.
EDIT: Yes, you can (per-Project). I saved my Patterns (Track 2 and Track 3). But I didn't specifically save the Project. Oddly, when turning off, and turning back on, the Patterns were stored, in Project 1. And they played, but the scale was wrong. After I held SAVE and then hit PROJECT (and then confirmed the Save), all was well. Turned off, turned back on. Project 1 played using the correct User Scale.
Hope this helps anyone out there who might be confused about the same thing.
