Using transport controls for ABleton?
« on: August 28, 2021, 08:07:12 am »
Hello, I'm trying to use this with ableton and so far everything works but the transport ist working as expected. I have to use the spacebar for stop start... Any ideas on how to do this?

Also the BPM on the Keystep seems to mark half the speed of Ableton (KS is 120 but ableton 60bpm). Maybe someone has experienced this before.

Thanks!

the transport is for the sequencer and arpegiator integrated in the synth. It's not designed to serve as transport for your DAW. You can sync live to the keybaord if you want (in midi setup; select KS37 input sync; and slave it to the keyboard in the upper left corner when done). Althought I'd stay away from using ableton live as a slave when recording anything because the tempo will make tiny adjustements and your recording will be warped to it; it's a whole mess; best to sync the keyboard to live.
