External Sync from BSP drives plug-ins crazy
« on: July 23, 2021, 11:47:32 pm »
So strange when things like this start up out of the blue...

I'm a BSP newbie, and I've been using it as a master clock to my DAWs running in external sync/slave mode (Digital Performer and Ableton Live)

Suddenly, when Digital Performer is slaved to the BSP, the sync/timing on my plug-ins ramp up to 400 bpm. DP itself plays in sync, and if I switch the "slave to external sync" feature off, the plug-ins perform as expected (in sync with DP's clock). Somehow the BSP clock is driving my plug-ins crazy! I experimented with the Sync setting in MMC but that didn't do anything.

FWIW, everything works fine in Ableton Live, so I suspect it's a DP thing. Any ideas are much appreciated. - Winslow
