Total newbie here. Using the Beatstep Pro as a sequencer within Ableton has been easy enough, I have used MIDI Ox to make sure no Midi clashes. However, I don’t know where to start to get the Beatstep Pro to control my System 1. So far I have connected a midi cable to the input of my System 1 and connected that to the jack to Midi cable provided with the BS Pro and Put that into the midi output of the BS Pro. I am copping out a bit here asking before I’ve tried, but I was in my local Pro Audio Sotore and asked the same question and they really struggled to do what I want ie use the BS Pro to control the System 1 to create a sequence, so I’m assuming it is quite hard! Thanks in advance for any help! Ultimately I’d love to use the BS Pro to control a note sequence and then play with the parameters and arpeggiator on the System 1. 🍻
