Analog Lab V start up
« on: December 24, 2020, 03:47:26 pm »
I am sure you have heard this several times.

Analog Lab V takes 45 seconds to get started
Analog Lab 4 takes 30 seconds to get started. Acceptable to me

Not a good trend. There isn't even a splash screen to let you know it is initializing. That would at least keep me happy. I Click the icon and wonder if it is even going to show up.

I run the V Collection  from an external hard (thanks for giving us that option). Why so long to boot? My external drive is directly into the laptop, not through a hub. I do not have the specs but my laptop is less than 2 years old on Windows 10.

Midi Control Center is over a minute to start up. I don't even use it. It was a good idea, but I'm on my second cup of coffee before I see a screen. Once again no splash screen so I don't know if it has even started.

I can not go back to drive C: with the V collection as it would take most of my Hard Disk Space. It seems laptops are being designed to use external and cloud storage, I do not see that going away.

Any ideas

Barry
