Keyboard split function
« on: December 10, 2020, 01:25:44 pm »
As i like more and more the new keystep 37 and considering to buy one to use as master piece of my live rig (see my previous post for the background), mostly because of its small compact size and all the embedded features...
The last thing that prevents me to tell "that's the one that i want" is the void of the keyboard split feature. This is the thing (with a good arp), that i've always wanted when i'm was thinking about this awesome perfect keyboard!

I know that the feature is available in the keystep pro, but... i really love , and want the compact size of the keystep 37 for practical reason.
A little shortcut combinasion for chosing the second layer midi's channel (like the first layer), a split point and bam, magic happens! :)

Thanks for your reading...
Vincent

This would be a great feature that as far as I can tell does not exist yet in the Keystep 37 (in front of me).
I wonder how it could be added with a firmware update using the existing available buttons and interface.
