Analog Lab Midi Channel Global Setting
« on: September 17, 2020, 04:12:11 pm »
Hello,

I have been a very happy user of my Keylab Essential 49 for some time now, especially with Analog Labs. It has exploded my work flow, but ever since I updated FL Studio 20 it has been having a problem.

The way I set up my DAW is to lock Midi Channels to different VST, and since Analog Labs uses Midi Channel 1, I lock it to that.

In order for Analog Labs to integrate properly and be able to use the knob and preset selectors on the controller, I have to lock the wrapper settings to channel 1 as well. The problem with doing this is that now whenever I want to play any other instrument, it keeps playing Analog Labs.

This was solved inside of Analog Labs Global Settings, where I can set it to be Midi Channel 1.  This solved the problem... until the update.

Now it doesn't seems to matter what midi channel the global setting is on, it will play regardless (even if my controller is set to midi channel 1 and global setting is set to 6)

I don't know if this is FL Studio Problem or Analog Labs problem, but it seems its a problem with Analog Labs.

Any thoughts on how to correct this?

Thank You!

LBH

Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

The global midi selection you show a image of should work in the latest version of Analog Lab. Are your Analog Lab updated? Which version do you use?
I can't test as i don't use FL Studio.

FYI: You have posted in Analog Laborarory forum.  That's not Analog Lab , but a discontinuet product.
