I've had several occasions where my 8pre displays the opposite state of the 48v on a channel. No idea how it happens, and it seems possible on multiple channels and only happens when phantom was engaged in the first place. So sometimes a mic that needs 48v actually works when I push the button, then at some point the button on the unit ánd in the software display that it's turned off, while it's actually still on. Then when pushing the button (again software or unit no difference), it turns on the red light again but turns off phantom power. This reverse state stays like this until I turn off and on the whole thing. Quite weird, and pretty annoying. Anyone else with this issue?
I'll send a support ticket as well, but I don't have any more details. If anyone else has this too, please tell me and I'll add it to my support ticket.
