Copy All Voices in a Drum Pattern at Once
« on: May 13, 2020, 02:49:53 pm »
Perhaps I'm missing something here, but is there a way to copy and paste all voices in a drum pattern at once?  For example, if I have a 16-step drum sequence on track 1 and increase my last step to 32, it seems I have to go back and copy my first pattern voice by voice instead of holding copy and pressing length16, then holding paste and holding length32 and having all notes in the drum pattern paste at once.  I understand that you may want to have fine control over which voices extend to the next repetition, but I'd rather go back and erase patterns I want to exclude than have to potentially repeat the same action 26 times.

I agree. If there isn't a good way for having both ways of copying, I'd rather remove steps afterwards.

What works for me is extending the sequence with shift+32/48/64 which copies the first pattern.
