Sound Delay using analob lab as vst in Ableton
« on: April 24, 2020, 09:55:35 pm »
Hi all,

I am new in Analog lab 4, I am not musician but I like play some covers of my favourite bands..

I am having a problem when I use Analog Lab as VST in Ableton 10. Using the same preset, delay change in Ableton 10, using the same bpm.

In this link I show a video with Analog lab 4 stand alone and after as vst in Ableton 10.

Thanks in advance

Hi.

This issue does'nt look like an Analog Lab issue.
It look and sound like a latency issue caused by your audio settings in Ableton Live.

How is your soundcards buffer settings in Ableton Live? To avoid noticeable latency when playing like this, then you should not go higher than 256 samples buffer size. Perhaps you can go by with 512 samples. It's good for a tight performance to be able to have a even lower buffer size than 256 samples.
In mixing situations you can have high buffer settings to save the load on the CPU.

Hope this helps.
